this is one thing like a pre tour or four door bronco built on a f250 plat form
Answer by hearth_inur_eyes The four door edition was a personalized extend by an exterior coach builder..”Centurion-”—not a FORD choice. The Lariat title plate just denotes the coloration and trim blend. Not genuinely stretched–the rear cargo bed was protected and was like a Suburban when it was all done. The suspension and the stance was the exact same as any F 250. You can find photographs of Lariat trim from 1988 on a ford web site–just type it in and do a lookup. Now the Ford organization experienced a rival for GMC Suburban, but the Tour never ever sold properly. A utilized 88 will be hard to discover–very number of had been available and they possibly had been employed until finally they died. The company was in Michigan
Its a 2000 Ford f250 super cab super-duty 4×4 7.3 diesel automatic. 95000 miles. no rust and its in good condition. its for sale at a dealer near me for $ 10,000. i looked up the kelly blue book value and it said it was worth 15,000. should i be concerned that the price is so low? also if the truck was used to tow a lot is it possible the transmission might need rebuilt in the next 50000 miles?
Here is where I am going to sound like a spoiled little asshole, but I honestly work hard. A few months ago, my dad bought a 1990 ford f-250 diesel for me. It is in his name, and he said when I turn 18 i will have the choice to buy it from for what he paid (1000$ ) The truck needs work, it needs new floors, new corners and we are making a flatbed because there isn’t much left of the bed. I was so happy with this. I was looking forward to patching the floors and having my dad teach me to weld. But he just got a deal on a 1996 (or somewhere around there) dodge gas truck. I think that it is alright, but I really don’t make enough at any of my jobs that it is smart to drive a full size gas truck. The thing is getting about 8 mpg with gas. The ford is getting about 18mpg on diesel. I really want to diesel, but my dad wants me to have the gas truck because it is safer (airbags) and needs less work (the bed is good, the corners are okay) But it has almost as many miles on it as the ford and the body is beat to hell (it was somebodys farm truck). How can I ask my dad for the ford without sounding like an ungrateful prick. I mean,. both are his until I buy it and move out, but he is going to sell the one he doesn’t keep. On top of this, my mom is positive that we need to sell a truck because she is getting a suburban (there are six of us, and the only car that we have that fits all of us is a big 4 door gmc. She hates the gmc and wants him to sell that. I also think my dad wants to keep the diesel as his own because with only 150000 miles on it, for 1000 bucks he basically go the best deal of his life. Should I be happy about the dodge? And not say anything? I don’t like the sound of 8 or 9mpg. I know the biggest thing for them is airbags. But I really fell in love with this ford. What would your kid have to say to keep the ford?
I am not allowed to have more than one other kid in my truck at a time. It isn’t even legal to have kids in your bed unless you have farm tags.
My dad hates minivans. He is the kind of guy who has a 4 door gmc -_- wears a cowboy hat all day every day… You have to meet him. We will never have a mini van. Anyways, suburbans are really nice cars. I really want him to get a cj8 scrambler because that would be a really cool car for six of us. haha

I have a 2002 ford f250 v10 truck and I want to transform it into a diesel and a 5 velocity. I also want to alter the motor into a v8. I just want to figure out how much it will value to do that or to at minimum alter the motor into a v8 and not make it a diesel
Response by Shellback It will be less expensive and much more price powerful to trade your truck or promote it and go purchase a different truck with the options you want, instead than attempting to convert yours.

I have a 05 Ford F250 and I’d like to replace the stock exhaust system with one thing that has an improved sound and functionality….
Make sure you share any personal exhaust set up tales and enable me know what brands are ideal.
Solution by cjp My personalized favorites are Dynomax UltraFlow, or Flowmaster 40 Collection.
A chambered tubular exhaust (seems to be like a tube with indentations) appears fantastic, and will give you a audio somewhere among a Flowmaster and a “glasspack”, but definitely far more on the mellow side, not sharp and “poppy” like a glasspack, but more tuned sounding.
i puchased the haynes fix manual but dont want to study as much is their a website that could have pictures and details on ford do it by yourself repairs?
Answer by Pat if your carrying out a rebuild your self..you will require the handbook. if you will not previously have a simple knowing on how to disassemble and reassemble an engine (chev ford or dodge..does not truly issue) then its not a excellent concept to do it oneself. especially if you consider the manual is to a lot studying. to use it appropriate have a basic comprehending and use it as a reference information

Just acquired a used Ford F250 Supercab XLT Longbed and the again running brake lights and the taxi brake lights stay on. I’ve accomplished almost everything I can think of. I’m now going to just take the fuse out and get it to a mechanic.
Reply by Mr. T Alter the switch on the brake pedal. If there is no a lot more adjustment, then substitute the switch.
